    tour from casablanca

The mosque is beautiful and right on the coast. I wouldn’t go to Casablanca for the mosque, but if in Casablanca already (ie layover) it is worth the stop.

For transportation, we dropped our luggage at a hotel close to the airport and got a driver to bring us into the city. As we visited the mosque in the heat of the summer, we used the driver to get to Ricks Cafe afterwards as well instead of walking.

Unfortunately, our flight was delayed which made us arrive to the mosque during prayer time. Meaning we could only see the outside as we are not Muslim; and I would really recommend going when there is the possibility of an indoor tour (see website hours – ie 3 &4). However, we still got to listen to some of th prayers externally, which was beautiful. Without going inside, you only need maybe 15 minutes.
